You know me, I'm always on the lookout for new tags for my sewn items. I don't know why, but I ADORE these things! There were two makers previously but they were difficult to get ahold of. Now there are two I want to share with you.
For woven labels, I am trying Worldwide. They sell 300 for 19.95. You have to check their blog for production and shipping, which I forgot LOL. But I do see they have my design in, I'll bet you can pick mine out pretty quick.
The other new company I'm having a TON of great luck with is Miss Label. Besides having a totally unique and easy to remember name, she ships fast. I've ordered labels for the Sewing Mama S.W.A.P. contest and will be stocking them in the soon to be opened Sewing Mama Boutique. I'm going to sell Sewing Mama tags, size tags, just the most basic Kwik Sew patterns, many of the popular patterns on SM (they are available for free but many have asked for the ability to purchase them like a 'real' pattern, not a .pdf file) and very little else. NO fabric. Just a few 'fun' things for members who want that little extra panache.
Yes I'm working on a show. Yes it's going really slow. I was hoping to have it done today, but Little Miss Sunshine has two pretty bad spider bites right on the back of her knees. She can't even walk so she's home today and I'm playing the Good Mommy.
The good part is where did she got these spider bites. Yosemite! We live in a wonderful part of California. We can drive to the coast or to the mountains or even Yosemite, spend the day, and get home and sleep in our own beds. Here are some pics from our trip, and both girls are wearing mama made dresses. The dog in particular had a wonderful time! Of course they should have worn bug spray too but hindsight and all that:
One last thing -- you've heard my "Em" on the show a few times. She had her Senior Ball a few weekends ago. Here we are -- funny thing, she looks taller than me but she's in heels ;) . She's on her way to a UC school next fall and we're all very proud of her! I'm fairly sure college classes will be easier than four AP classes and working 30 hours a week at Starbuck's.
